The Union Cabinet has approved a ₹28.14 billion (~$297.06 million) capital expenditure (CAPEX) support program to promote domestic processing of lithium, nickel and other critical minerals.These minerals find use in sectors such as electric mobility, battery energy storage, electronics, defense, and specialty steel.
