Additional Surcharge for Open Access Reduced by 45% in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (UERC) has revised the additional surcharge to ₹1.07 (~$0.014)/kWh for consumers sourcing power through open access from April 1, 2022, to September 30, 2022. This is a 45% decrease from the additional surcharge of ₹1.94 (~$0.026)/kWh applicable from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022.
