Robotic solar module cleaning equipment supplier Aegeus Technologies’ ₹237 million (~$2.49 million) initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 24.33 times at the end of the bidding window on August 6, 2026.
The IPO consisted of a fresh issue of 2.26 million equity shares.
The price band was set at ₹100 (~$1.05) to ₹105 (~$1.104) per equity share, with a face value of ₹10 (~$0.105).
The IPO saw bids for 41.02 million shares out of the 1.69 million shares on offer.
Individual investors led the demand, with 25.59 times the bids reserved for the category. Bids received from qualified institutional buyers were 23.88% of the bids reserved for the category.

The company plans to use the net proceeds to invest ₹28.61 million (~$301,000) in product development, ₹57.4 million (~$604,000) to establish a manufacturing facility, and ₹80 million (~$842,000) to meet working capital requirements, with the balance allocated to general corporate purposes.
In FY 2026, Aegeus Technologies’ revenue stood at ₹409.37 million (~$4.31 million), an 87% year-over-year increase from ₹218.90 million (~$2.30 million). Its profit after tax rose to ₹40.18 million (~$423,000) from ₹13.92 million (~$146,000) in the previous year.
As of the date of this red herring prospectus, the pre-issue shareholding of its promoters stood at 64.75%, and after the IPO, their post-issue shareholding will be 47.29%.
As of March 31, 2026, the company had outstanding unsecured loans of ₹53.13 million (~$559,000). It had registered its logo under the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and held five patents related to its products, according to the red herring prospectus.
In the Buyer-Seller Meet held in Bengaluru, Suraj Vernekar, Managing Director at Aegeus Technologies, said that developers are evaluating fully autonomous, semi-autonomous, and hybrid cleaning solutions based on site conditions, plant size, terrain, and row length.
He noted that while robotic dry-cleaning costs ₹0.35 (~$0.004) to ₹0.60 (~$0.006) per module, about one-third the cost for conventional manual water-based cleaning, reducing water usage and labor requirements. Lower operating costs enable developers to clean modules more frequently, improving generation by an estimated 0.75% to 1%.
Aegeus Technologies was one of the top five robotic solar module cleaning equipment suppliers in 2025, according to Mercom India’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2026 report.
