The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has introduced a standardized mechanism allowing renewable energy and other eligible connectivity grantees additional time to meet land, financial closure, and commercial operation milestones under the general network access (GNA) regulations by paying milestone extension charges (MEC).
