Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) has floated five tenders to invite bids to set up 1.038 MW of rooftop solar systems across 66 kV substations under Gujarat’s Surendranagar Circle.

Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹70,000 (~$740.871) if registered as an MSME and ₹80,000 (~$846.71) if they are non-MSME bidders.

Successful bidders must furnish a contract security deposit equivalent to 5% of the contract price and a performance guarantee equivalent to 20% of the order value.

They must also submit a tender fee of ₹5900 (~$62.4).

The five tenders cover 210 kW, 208 kW, 21,0 kW, 213 kW, and 197 kW projects under the Limbdi, Dhrangadhra, and Viramgam divisions.

The estimated cost for the 210 kW Limbdi project is ₹9.85 million (~$104,251), ₹9.75 million (~$103,193) for 208 kW Limbdi project, ₹9.85 million (~$104,251) for 210 kW Dhrangadhra project, ₹9.99 million (~$105,733) for 213 kW Dhrangadhra project, and ₹9.01 million (~$95,360.7) for 197 kW Viramgam project.

All five projects must be completed within three months.

The scope of work covers survey, design, supply, installation, commissioning, and five-year maintenance of rooftop solar systems with a cumulative capacity of 1.038 MW across substations under the Surendranagar Circle.

The projects include comprehensive maintenance for five years.

The solar systems must maintain an annual capacity utilization factor of at least 17% during the five-year maintenance period.

The projects must use solar modules and cells listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.

The solar modules for the rooftop systems should be bifacial TOPCon, with a capacity of 575 Wp or 585 Wp each. The modules must be warranted for five years and ensure a performance warranty of at least 20% over 25 years.

Bidders must be registered with the Gujarat Energy Development Agency and hold a valid electrical contractor license.

Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar PV projects aggregating at least 80 kW in the residential sector during the previous three years. Such projects must have been executed for a Gujarat government department, semi-government department, private firm, or institution. Subcontracting experience will not be considered.

Bidders must submit an active GST registration and PAN, along with a latest bank solvency certificate issued by a scheduled bank for at least 20% of the bid value.

Recently, GETCO invited bids to set up 1.375 MW of rooftop solar systems on the control room terraces and office rooftops of various substations in the state.
