India added nearly 1.8 GW of wind power capacity in the third quarter (Q3) of calendar year (CY) 2026, up 30% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) from Q2 2026 and 21% year-over-year (YoY) from Q3 2025, according to Mercom India Research.
