The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) has invited bids to set up 2,000 MW/4,000 MWh of battery energy storage systems (2-hour discharge, 1 cycle per day) connected to the State Transmission Utility (STU) under the Viability Gap Funding (VGF) program.
