The UAE updated its energy strategy, aiming to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. The country is increasing its focus on clean and renewable energy projects, specifically solar power, as a core strategy to address climate change. It targets a clean energy capacity of 14.2 GW by 2030 and plans to invest between AED150 billion (~$40.84 billion) and AED200 billion (~$54.45 billion) to triple renewable energy contributions by that year.
