Saudi Arabia-listed Acwa-led consortium achieved the project commercial operation date for its 340 MW solar photovoltaic project integrated with a 1,227 MWh battery energy storage system. The consortium comprises Acwa, SPIC Huanghe Hydropower, Saudi Tabreed, and The Red Sea Utilities Company, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global. The system will supply round-the-clock electricity. The consortium provides renewable power, potable water, wastewater treatment, district cooling, and waste management.
