					</table>The Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (<a href="https://www.getcogujarat.com/getco_newsite/index.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GETCO</a>) has invited bids to set up 1.375 MW of rooftop solar systems on the control room terraces and office rooftops of various substations in the state.
The projects entail setting up rooftop systems with a cumulative capacity of 103 kW at Navsari and Vapi division, 155 kW at Vav, 220 kW at Keshod, 223 kW at Junagadh, 224 kW at Kodinar, 225 kW each at Dhoraji and Manavadar.
The scope of work covers survey, design, supply, installation, commission and maintenance of the systems for five years. To qualify, bidders must be registered with the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (<a href="https://geda.gujarat.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GEDA</a>).
For the Navsari, Vapi and Vav divisions, bidders must submit a latest bank solvency certificate, not older than one year, for at least 20% of the estimated tender cost. For the Keshod, Junagadh, Kodinar, Dhoraji and Manavadar divisions, bidders must submit a latest bank solvency certificate for at least 20% of the bid value.
Selected bidders must furnish a performance bank guarantee equivalent to 20% of the respective order value.
The solar modules and cells to be used in these projects must comply with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy&#8217;s Domestic Content Requirement and the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers framework.

Navsari and Vapi Division
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹45,261 (~$477.18) and a tender fee of ₹1,180 (~$12.44).
The estimated cost of the project is ₹4.53 million (~$47,718).  The project must be completed within two months.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed and commissioned grid-connected solar power projects with an aggregate capacity of not less than 50% of the tender capacity in the residential sector during the last three years in any government department of Gujarat.
Polycrystalline solar modules of at least 300 Wp each must be used.
Bids must be submitted by September 11, 2026.
The project will cover Ambheta, Navsari, Chikhli, Tavdi and three other substations.
Vav Division
Bidders must furnish an EMD of ₹65,043 (~$685.75) and a tender fee of ₹5,900 (~$62.20).
The total project cost is ₹6.50 million (~$68,574.48). The selected bidder will get two months to complete the project.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects with an aggregate capacity of at least 50% of the tender capacity in the residential sector during the last three years in any government department of Gujarat.
The last date to submit bids is September 11, 2026.
Bidders must use polycrystalline solar modules of at least 300 Wp each. The rooftop projects will be set up at Mota, Vav, and Utran substations.
Keshod Division
Bidders must furnish an EMD of ₹80,000 (~$843.44). The tender fee is ₹5,900 (~$62.20). The estimated project cost is ₹9.82 million (~$103,544.10).
The project must be completed in 90 days.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed and commissioned grid-connected solar projects aggregating at least 115 kW in the residential or commercial sector during the previous three years as the main contractor for any Gujarat government department, semi-government entity, institute, or firm. Bids must be submitted by September 14, 2026.
Monocrystalline bifacial solar modules of at least 520 Wp each must be used in the project.
The rooftop systems will be set up at Keshod AM Division Office, Bhalka, Adri, Pransali, Keshod, Shil, Bhatsimaroli, Chuldi, Agatrai, Raningpara, Moti Ghasari, Divrana, Virol, Sondarda, Budhecha, Ishara, Madhavpur and Movana substations.
Junagadh Division
Bidders must submit an EMD of ₹80,000 (~$843.44) and a tender fee of ₹5,900 (~$62.20).
The estimated project cost is ₹9.98 million (~$105,263.21), while the project timeline is 90 days.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects aggregating at least 115 kW in the residential or commercial sector during the previous three years as the main contractor for any Gujarat government department, semi-government entity, institute, or firm.
The tender specifies the use of bifacial monocrystalline solar modules of not less than 520 Wp each.
The last date to submit bids is September 14, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day.
The rooftop systems will be set up at the Circle Office, Junagadh; Junagadh AM Division Office; Junagadh Construction Division Office; Khadiya; Dhebar; Kharachiya; Ishwariya; Bhalgam; Chanaka; Navi Hadiyad; Sarsai; Hanuman Khijadiya; Bhesan; Zanzarda; Amarapar; Arabtimbdi; and Vekariya substations.
Kodinar Division
Bidders must furnish an EMD of ₹80,000 (~$843.44). They will also have to pay a tender fee of ₹5,900 (~$62.20).
The total estimated project cost is ₹9.85 million (~$103,862.78). The successful bidder will get 90 days to complete the project.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects aggregating at least 115 kW in the residential or commercial sector during the previous three years as the main contractor for any Gujarat government department, semi-government entity, institute, or firm.
Bifacial monocrystalline modules of minimum 520 Wp must be used in the project.
Bids must be submitted by September 14, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day.
The rooftop systems will be set up at Girgadhada, Advi, Dhrabavad, Una, Ghusia, Ghantwad, Adpokar, Jantrakhadi, Tad, Luvari Moli, Gorakhmadhi, Dhokadva, Samter, and Kodinar substations.
Dhoraji Division
The EMD is ₹80,000 (~$843.44) and the tender fee is ₹5,900 (~$62.20).
The total project cost is ₹9.95 million (~$104,872.51). The selected bidder will get 90 days to complete the project.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects aggregating at least 115 kW in the residential or commercial sector during the previous three years as the main contractor for any Gujarat government department, semi-government entity, institute, or firm.
The tender also mandates the use of monocrystalline bifacial solar modules of at least 520 Wp each.
The deadline to submit the bids is September 14, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day.
The rooftop systems will be set up at Jetpur A, Jetpur B, Kotda (Bavisi), Bhojabedi, Khajurda, Arani, Samana, Gundasari, Moti Parbadi, Sadodar, Dhoraji, Jam Kandorana, Rangpar, Motipaneli, Padeshwar, Sanala, Vanana, and Satodad substations.
Manavadar Division
Bidders must submit an EMD of ₹80,000 (~$843.44), while the tender fee is ₹5,900 (~$62.20).
The project is estimated to cost ₹9.95 million (~$104,929.32). The project must be completed within 90 days.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects aggregating at least 115 kW in the residential or commercial sector during the previous three years as the main contractor for any Gujarat government department, semi-government entity, institute, or firm.
Bidders must use monocrystalline bifacial solar modules of at least 520 Wp each for the project.
The last date to submit bids is September 14, 2026. They will be opened the same day.
The proposed rooftop solar systems will be installed at Navagam, Dhandhusar, Devgadh, Shapur, Manavadar, Khodiyar, Mendarda, Bantiya, Itali, Patanvav, Thanapipali, Pajod, Fulrama, Pasvari, Marmath, Katakpara, Khimpadar and Araniyala substations.
In May, GEDA <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/gujarat-issues-guidelines-to-streamline-renewable-energy-project-development" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> guidelines for developing solar, wind, and wind-solar projects with or without battery storage systems, as well as standalone battery storage systems. The guidelines, which align with the Gujarat Integrated Renewable Energy Policy 2025, will not apply to renewable energy projects established to supply power to units that produce green hydrogen and ammonia, or to pumped-storage projects.
