					</table><p>The Solar Energy Corporation of India (<a href="https://seci.co.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SECI</a>), the sole renewable energy implementing agency, has 9,675 MW of unsold renewable energy capacity under several auctions, according to its latest update.</p>

<p>SECI is yet to find offtakers for 10 interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected auctions spanning solar-plus-storage, solar, wind-solar, manufacturing-linked solar projects, wind-solar hybrid, and firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects.</p>
<p>Across all categories, tariffs have been determined through competitive bidding, with SECI’s trading margin of ₹0.07 (~$0.0007)/kWh applied to the discovered tariff.</p>
<p>Most projects have a 24-month commissioning period from the effective date of the power purchase agreement.</p>
<p>Since its last <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/over-10-gw-of-seci-awarded-renewable-capacity-yet-to-find-offtakers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">listing</a> of unsold capacity in March this year, SECI has found takers for 425 MW.</p>
<p>Under its Tranche XXI solar-plus-battery storage <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/engie-nlc-india-rays-power-among-winners-of-secis-1-2-gw-solar-plus-3-6-gwh-storage-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a>, conducted in January 2026, SECI is yet to find takers for the entire 1,200 MW capacity.</p>
<p>The available capacity includes 600 MW from NLC India Renewables and 200 MW from Engie Energy India, each at a tariff of ₹3.12 (~$0.033)/kWh. It also includes 300 MW from RPIL Power Three and 100 MW from Oriana Power at a tariff of ₹3.13 (~$0.033)/kWh.</p>
<p>SECI is also yet to find any offtakers for its 600 MW Tranche IX wind-solar hybrid <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/seci-wind-solar-auction-tranche-ix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a> held in October 2024 and its 1.2 GW ISTS-connected Tranche VIII wind-solar hybrid auction held in June 2024. Juniper Green Energy has 150 MW, and ACME Solar Holdings has 300 MW at a tariff of ₹3.25 (~$0.034)/kWh, while Sembcorp Green Infra has 150 MW at a tariff of ₹3.26 (~$0.034)/kWh.</p>
<p>Under the 1.2 GW Tranche VIII wind-solar hybrid <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/seci-wind-solar-auction-tranche-viii" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a>, JSW Neo Energy has 300 MW, Adyant Enersol has 60 MW, AMPIN Energy has 150 MW, and Asurari Renewables India has 300 MW, each at a tariff of ₹3.45 (~$0.036)/kWh. Juniper Green Energy has 150 MW at a tariff of ₹3.43 (~$0.036)/kWh, and Avaada Energy has 240 MW at a tariff of ₹3.46 (~$0.036)/kWh.</p>
<p>SECI is also yet to secure offtakers for 1,700 MW of the awarded capacity under its 2 GW Tranche XX solar-plus-storage <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/purvah-sael-among-winners-of-secis-2-gw-solar-4-gwh-energy-storage-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a>. MB Power has 150 MW of available capacity; Shivalaya Construction has 600 MW; Oswal Cables has 50 MW; Purvah Green Power has 300 MW; LC Infra Projects has 50 MW; and Stockwell Solar Services has 80 MW, all at a tariff of ₹2.86 (~$0.030)/kWh.</p>
<p>There is also a stranded capacity of 300 MW from SAEL Industries, 50 MW from GH2 Solar, and 120 MW from Navayuga Green Energy, each at a tariff of ₹2.87 (~$0.030)/kWh, all from the same auction.</p>
<p>Under the 1.2 GW Tranche XV solar-plus-storage <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/seci-solar-plus-storage-auction-tranche-xv" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a>, JSW Neo Energy’s 500 MW capacity was awarded at a tariff of ₹3.42 (~$0.036)/kWh and has remained stranded since the auction concluded in July 2024.</p>
<p>In SECI’s 1.5 GW Tranche XIV solar <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/ntpc-win-seci-solar-tranche-xvi-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a>, 600 MW of capacity is available, comprising 300 MW each from Avaada Energy and ReNew Solar Power at a tariff of ₹2.57 (~$0.027)/kWh.</p>
<p>Under the 7 GW manufacturing-linked solar auction, 2,366 MW of capacity is available, comprising 250 MW from Azure Power at a tariff of ₹2.54 (~$0.026)/kWh, 317 MW from Azure Power India, and 1,799 MW from Adani Green Energy Four each at a tariff of ₹2.42 (~$0.025)/kWh. The capacity has been pending since 2019, when the auction was held.</p>
<p>Under the 1.2 GW Tranche VI wind-solar hybrid <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/amp-energy-renew-hero-2-gw-hybrid-tender" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a>, the total stranded capacity is 410 MW, comprising 50 MW from AMP Energy Green at a tariff of ₹4.64 (~$0.049)/kWh, 300 MW from ReNew Vikram Shakti at a tariff of ₹4.69 (~$0.049)/kWh, and 60 MW from Hero Solar Energy at a tariff of ₹4.72 (~$0.050)/kWh. The auction was held in April 2023.</p>
<p>SECI is also yet to find offtakers for its FDRE auctions. It has 200 MW of available capacity from Altra Xergi Power at a tariff of ₹8.1 (~$0.085)/kWh under its 8 GWh Tranche VI FDRE <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/altra-xergi-seci-fdre-vi-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a> and 899 MW from its 1.2 GW Tranche VII FDRE auction.</p>
<p>Under the 1.2 GW Tranche VII FDRE <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/datta-infra-serentica-ampin-acme-win-secis-4-8-gwh-fdre-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">auction</a>, SECI has 100 MW of available capacity from Adyant Enersol at a tariff of ₹6.27 (~$0.066)/kWh. It also has 600 MW from Serentica Renewables India and 199 MW from AMPIN Energy Utility Nine, each at a tariff of ₹6.28 (~$0.066)/kWh.</p>
