Kolkata-based solar module manufacturer Vikram Solar has secured an order for the supply of 378.75 MW of N-TOPCon modules for Indian Oil-NTPC Green Energy’s (INGEL) 600 MW solar project in Nakhatrana, Kutch district, Gujarat.

Vikram will start supplying the modules in the current financial year.

Last year, the company received an order for 148.9 MW of high-efficiency solar modules from renewable energy solutions provider Sunsure Energy. Vikram Solar will provide its M10R N-Type TOPCon modules rated at 595 W, which will be deployed across Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Recently, Vikram Solar agreed with Jupiter International to procure 2 GW of crystalline solar cells compliant with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. The procurement will comprise high-efficiency TOPCon and Mono PERC solar cells.

In the third quarter (Q3) of FY 2026, Vikram Solar reported a 8% year-over-year jump in consolidated revenue to ₹11.06 billion (~$121.55 million) from ₹10.26 billion (~$112.76 million).

As of Q3 FY 2026, the company’s order book stands at 10.6 GW from the utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and other segments. This consists of 84% domestic and 16% export orders.

Last year, it commissioned a 5 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Vallam, Tamil Nadu, increasing its total production capacity to 9.5 GW.

Vikram Solar also increased the manufacturing capacity of its Falta facility in West Bengal by 1 GW and upgraded the production lines at its Oragadam facility in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to produce TOPCon and heterojunction solar modules.

Recently, Vikram Solar also signed an agreement to renew and enhance its existing working capital facilities, amounting to ₹32 billion (~$353.23 million), extended by a lenders’ consortium.

Earlier this month, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy expanded the ALMM by adding 17,268 MW of solar module capacity. The cumulative module manufacturing capacity under ALMM now stands at 162,109 MW.
