In an interview on the sidelines of the Mercom India Renewables Summit, Krishan Dutt Tiwari, Chief Projects Officer (BESS) at Adani Green Energy, discussed the industry’s transition toward firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) and round-the-clock (RTC) projects, the commercial viability of battery energy storage systems at current prices, and challenges in India’s domestic battery supply chain, hindering the maturing of the battery market.
