Cement manufacturer Nuvoco Vistas Corporation will procure renewable power from Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions’ (CleanMax) 46.4 MW wind-solar-plus-storage project in Rajasthan.

The project, located in Bhikamkhore, will comprise 20 MW of wind capacity and 26.4 MW of solar capacity, along with 2 MWh of battery storage.

It will be developed under a group captive structure, with electricity supplied to Nuvoco through the state transmission utility’s open access network.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 100 million units of renewable electricity annually.

CleanMax said the project adds to its renewable energy portfolio in Rajasthan, where it has more than 525 MW of operational solar, wind, and hybrid capacity.

Nuvoco said the project forms part of its efforts to reduce the carbon intensity of its manufacturing operations through renewable energy, waste heat recovery systems, energy efficiency measures, and increased use of alternative fuels.

According to Nuvoco’s annual report for FY 2026, the company is procuring around 5 MW of solar power across all its plants.

In FY 2024, its subsidiary NU Vista invested in 26.36% equity shares of AMPIN Energy Green (C&I) Two for ₹7.8 million (~$81,279) to procure renewable energy.

During FY 2026, it also executed a letter of intent to procure renewable power from a 50 MW project. During the year, Nuvoco consumed 1.02 million GJ of renewable power.

CleanMax had a contracted renewable energy portfolio of 6 GW as of June 30, 2026. The company said it serves approximately 600 customers across technology, digital infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

In June 2026, CleanMax partnered with global technology company Meta Platforms to support the development of 837 MW of new solar and wind projects across Rajasthan and Karnataka.

In the same month, the company partnered with chemical manufacturer Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals to supply hybrid renewable power from a 75.90 MW wind and 84.34 MW solar project in Gujarat.
