CleanMax Commissions 185 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Project in Gujarat

Mumbai-headquartered renewable energy solutions provider Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions (CleanMax) has commissioned a 185 MW wind-solar hybrid power project in Kalavad, Gujarat.
The project will supply renewable energy to 17 corporate customers, including APAR Industries and Borosil Renewables, under a group captive arrangement.
The 185 MW wind-solar hybrid project was developed over 12 months.
With the commissioning of the project, CleanMax has raised its operational capacity in Gujarat to around 844 MW.
Nikunj Ghodawat, Chief Financial Officer at CleanMax, said that the commissioning of the 185 MW wind-solar hybrid project will enhance its revenue base, contributing upwards of ₹1.65 billion (~$17.756 million) annually in the financial year (FY) 2027.
In FY 2025, the company reported revenue of ₹3.43 billion (~$36.911 million) from its operations in Gujarat, accounting for about 30% of its renewable energy power sales revenue.
In Q3 of FY 2026, CleanMax reported a total income of ₹4.66 billion (~$50.45 million), up 13.9% year-over-year from ₹4.09 billion (~$44.28 million).
CleanMax supplies renewable energy to more than 570 companies. Data centers and AI accounted for 42% of its contracted volumes as of the third quarter of FY 2026.
As of March 31, 2026, CleanMax’s operational energy sale capacity stood at 3.1 GW, and 5.7 GW of contracted capacity as of March 1, 2026.
Recently, Energy infrastructure solutions company APAR Industries said it would procure hybrid captive power of 7.34 MW solar and 9.90 MVA from wind turbine generators from Clean Max Rudra, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of CleanMax.
In the same month, polyester film company Polyplex also announced its decision to procure power from the solar projects of Clean Max Neht, a SPV of CleaMax, and from the projects of BECIS Solar 1, an SPV of Berkeley Energy Commercial Industrial Solutions, for its plants in Khatima and Bazpur, Uttarakhand.
