India’s renewable energy policies are increasingly focused on improving project execution, grid stability, transmission connectivity, and reliable power delivery during the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, according to Mercom India’s Q3 2026 Renewable Energy Policy Impact Report.

Solar robotics company LEAPTING commissioned cleaning robots across approximately 10 GW of utility-scale solar projects in India and signed contracts covering nearly 16 GW.

The Central Electricity Authority sought information from manufacturers on their readiness to develop innovative transmission technologies to address right-of-way challenges in India’s power transmission infrastructure. SECI invited bids to develop a grid-connected solar project on the elevated section of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway (NH 709B) for the National Highways Authority of India. Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation invited bids to supply 1.65 MWp of solar modules for its 400 MW grid-connected solar power project in Anantapuramu district, Andhra Pradesh. The last date to submit bids is November 18, 2026. Bids will be opened on December 2.
