Türkiye and Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power will sign the second phase of the 5 GW renewable energy corporation deal at the UN climate summit COP31 to be held in Antalya, Türkiye, later in 2026. The planned agreement will cover the remaining 3 GW capacity under a government-to-government agreement between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia. Recently, a deal was signed between the two countries for the first 2 GW of solar projects in Türkiye’s Sivas and Karaman provinces.
